Meet Dr. Sanjeev Baniwal

Dr. Sanjeev Baniwal has been a dentist for close to thirty years and practiced dentistry in three continents and four countries.

He has constantly invested in his own learning to make sure the advice and treatment he gives you is evidence based and currently accepted.

In these years he has realised that a dental appointment is not something you look forward to. He tries to give you the information and skills to look after yourself. He realises that all patients are different, but the causes of dental diseases are usually the same.

Dr. Sanjeev's Australian Journey

Dr Sanjeev left behind a growing career in academics and private practice in India to move to Australia to further his career in general practice and raise his family in Australia.

Dr Sanjeev Baniwal arrived in Australia in 2012 after being offered a job with the 1300 smiles group in Cairns. He loved Cairns but owing to his surgical background, he was offered a job at Mount Isa, at a very busy practice. He took up this challenging opportunity and spent two years in Mount Isa. He developed an understanding of the challenges and needs of remote communities. He also developed a love for the outback and its beautiful skies. After working in Mt. Isa for two years he moved to Orange in NSW, where he worked in the Aboriginal Medical Services. He had the opportunity to see firsthand the challenges in delivering care to the indigenous communities. After spending a year in Orange Aboriginal Medical Centre and making lifelong connections, he came back to the sunshine state to do locum work in Roma for a year.

When the Brite Dental Group came for sale, he was confident that this was a great opportunity. The multicultural vibe of Logan and the friendly, easy-going people was something he thought he could devote the rest of his life to serving. He bought the Brite Dental Group in 2015.He is grateful for the support he has received from the community and has increased the services and working time of the practice. He has modernised the practice with constant investments of time and money. He is guided by the motto of providing good service at fair prices.
