Meet

Dr. Sanjeev Baniwal is a friendly, empathetic, and patient dentist from Browns Plains. He is very gentle and understands that a dental appointment is not something most people look forward to. Dr. Sanjeev likes to spend a lot of time to understand the patient and strongly believes in treating the patient as a whole and not just the tooth.

He graduated from South India 1995 and then went on to do his post-graduation in 2000, specialising in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Sanjeev was then involved in academics for 10 years, teaching at Dental universities in India, Nepal, and Libya.

In 2006, he earned the MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. Dr. Sanjeev Baniwal has published scientific papers in international journals and has been involved in training of graduates and post graduate dental students.

Australian Saga

Australia is the third continent in which Dr. Sanjeev is practicing dentistry. He passed the three-part ADC exam in 2011.

Dr Sanjeev Baniwal arrived in Australia in 2012 and worked in Cairns for six months. He then moved to Mount Isa with his family where he was the only dentist at a very busy practice. After working in Mt. Isa for two years he moved to orange in NSW where he worked in the Aboriginal Medical Services. Spending a year in Orange, and not enjoying the cold very much, he came back to the sunshine state to do locum work in Roma for a year.

After gaining invaluable experience in Australia and abroad he bought the Brite Dental Group in Browns Plains. Dr. Sanjeev added new procedures including wisdom teeth surgery and dental implant surgery to the practice.

A warm, friendly, compassionate, and experienced team supports Dr. Sanjeev Baniwal. Brite Dental Group has been providing oral health services to people of this area for over 10 years. He is happy to provide treatment to a wide demographic of people, from the different cultural backgrounds.

Personal Life

In his free time, Sanjeev likes to watch movies with his family, go for long walks, read a book, or cook. He enjoys all kinds of music and is a passionate cricket fan. Sanjeev makes sure to watch and support the Maroons every year. He has two children, an 18-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son.
