Your Safety is Our Primary Concern

Your Safety is Our Primary Concern

At Brite Dental Group, your safety is our primary concern and we have taken infection control procedures seriously. Besides, we adhere to the NSQHS Standards and our practice is QIP accredited. Now, in the current situation, our actions taken in health care settings to prevent the spread of disease is even more pro-active.

We ensure that even before you enter the examining room, we clean and disinfect all surfaces. This includes the dental chair, dental equipment, drawer handles and, countertops.

Our team cares about your safety

Our team cares about your safety and works hard to prevent the spread of infection. We ask you to disinfect your hand at arrival, wash your hands for 20 seconds when in surgery and also disinfect before you leave. Also, we use N95 masks and gowns when we see you. We get you to rinse before treatment for 30 seconds with peroxide before we peer into your mouth.

We sterilize and clean all non-disposable items like the dental tools and equipment between patients. Needless to say, we never re-use disposable dental tools and needles. Additionally, as an infection control precaution, we have made it mandatory for all dental staff involved in patient care to use appropriate protective equipment. These include gloves, masks, gowns and eyewear. Prior to seeing the next patient, everyone on the dental team washes their hands and puts on a new pair of gloves.

Our aim is to protect patients and our dental health care professionals, to help “flatten the curve” by slowing the spread of SARS CoV-2 virus.
