use extras cover before 2018

HEALTH fund members with extras are being urged to maximise their cover before it resets on January 1.

Whether it be a dental check-up, physio appointment or getting your eyes tested, in many cases members will still have money left on their annual limits which allows them to get money back on claims made.

Latest Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) statistics revealed more than 13.5 million Australians (about 55 per cent of the population) have some form of extras cover.
